Light amber-brown with off-white head. Subtle smell of earth and nuts. I like it.
Relatively light-bodied, and a bit too sprite for a brown ale. However, there is a nice meld of sweet malt and light brown sugar notes. A hint of nut, which makes sense seeing it is brewed with pecans. Quite easy to drink and would make a wonderful session ale.
Not a heavy-hitter but nice just the same. Try it with a big bowl of sausage jambalaya --- the sweet will compliment the spice.
