Pours a light amber with a modest head and the barest touch of lace. Smells like a bag of pecans, honestly, it's subtle but smells just like that...This for me a pretty neutral ale. Starts with a nice pale malt base, touch of caramel, touch of green hops but then this vague, subtle pecan flavor emerges that I very much enjoy. It's intriguing, though I do wish it were a touch more prominent. Finish is subdued pecan nuttiness. Mouthfeel is medium light with medium carbonation. Very drinkable.
As is this is a run of mill ale with some very interesting pecan undertones, but I think it could be much more...
