A: Pours a extremely pale brown with an aggressive head that quickly fades to a thin layer leaving little lacing.
S: This one seems to be aromatically challenged. There is a small hint of something nut-like with perhaps a bit of toffee, but overall this doesn't smell like anything at all.
T: I was hoping this might be like Southern Pecan from Lazy Magnolia, but alas this is a very watery, uninspired ale. About the only place that any pecan shows through is in the oily finish, but even the base brown ale lacks any character. As you'd expect, there's not much in the way of hops, but regrettably, there's little in the way of malt either.
M: Very watery, low carbonation.
O: Back to the drawing board with this one. Good pecan beers can be done, but this isn't a good example at all.
