12 oz stubbie bottle courtesy of Ding from SS 07. Thanks man!
I am pouring a cellar temp bottle into a snifter. Beer pours a bright clear chestnut hue with creamy beige head of 1 cm foaming up and receding gradually.
Aroma is caramel and toffee all the way, some nuttiness too, or is that my mind telling me I should smell nuts? Nope they are there.
First sip reveals a very fine and fizzy carbonation with smooth slightly sticky and thicker than average body. Just right to keep it an easy drinker and not watery at all.
Flavor is sweet and malty from start to finish. I get the caramel and toffee again with some nut flavor as well. The flavor lingers with some grainy characteristics on the finish. No hint of ABV and no real hop presence either.
An easy drinker that turns out to be pretty tasty too.
Give it a shot, just dont expect too much and you will be fairly happy.
