A: The pour is a nice amber/copper color with a thin layer of slightly off-white foam.
S: I found the nose to be fairly enjoyable. A lot of toasted biscuit aromas and a nice nuttiness (presumably pecans) which I was not expecting to be so powerful. There's a touch of butter/diacetyl as well, however.
T: After a fairly robust nose, the flavors were really a let down. This is very watery and quite mild in terms of flavor. The only thing I pick up is a slight toasted malt flavor.
M: The beer is thin on the tongue with moderate carbonation.
D: I can't say I was let down, because I've never been impressed by Abita, but this started out with some promise and then crashed and burned.
