On-tap at Slater's 50/50 Anaheim Hills. How I haven't hit this beer before will remain a mystery unsolved. On to the beer:
There's a little haze in this light orange beer. Topping it is a sturdy head with solid retention and acceptable quantities of lace. A bit of a surprise was how soft the nose was. There's a little resin and sticky pine, otherwise its absent. There's a small improvement with the taste, because at least you don't need to squint to find something. Still, it's not very vibrant by West Coast standards. Tastes faded. A little grapefruit and kiss of orange ensure that this is an IPA, and also a stickiness flavor. The mouthfeel is spot on, being medium bodied with an acceptable level of carbonation.
I thought it was going to be better than this. At least it wasn't offensive to my senses.

The appearance of this IPA is actually quite stunning in a highly carbonated, cheap sort of way. The head was a tower of ivory foam with a dense cap. The body was a glowing, brassy color of copper but it was obscured by a torrent of tiny bubbles that clung to the glass.
The nose presents a strong malt base with caramel, tea leaves and barley. The hop scent is old world floral with hints of lemon, pine and grapefruit.
The flavor matches the scent nearly identically. Strong malt base, maybe tea leaf, with a floral, pine, tinges of lemon and a pithy grapefruit.
The feel is dry but it has almost no carbonated bite, despite the appearance.
Very simple IPA with stronger Pale Ale qualities than hop profile.
