Jockamo I.P.A. is a traditional India Pale Ale made with the best pale and light crystal malts that give the beer a copper color and malty flavor. This full-flavored beer is hopped and dry hopped liberally with Willamette and Columbus hops from the Pacific Northwest and has a 6.5% A.B.V. The spicy aroma of the hops contrasts nicely with the pleasant sweetness of the malts. Jockamo has a flavor that entices and excites the palate.

From a bottle into a snifter

Look is the best part of this beer. It's a beautiful orange in color with thin white head and moderate lace.

Smell had orange zest and malts. Bread notes and yeast are strong as well.

Taste is malts with yeast and sweet fruits. Bitterness on the finish gives it a nice balance.

Overall the beer is fine. It's smooth enough in the mouth to be enjoyable even if the flavors aren't as rich as some.

Didn't really taste the hops, kind of flat.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle to a tulip glass.

A: Little bit cold as I pulled it out of the freezer. Few slushies. Deep amber/orange with a tan head.
S: Pomegranate, dark fruits, bit of orange as well. Not much pine.
T: Soapy, and bready malts. Sweet fruits. Small amount of bitterness on the end.
M: Medium mouthfeel.
O: Not really an IPA to me. More like a hoppy amber. Maybe I got a bad bottle.
