Best by 11/23/14. 5.2% ABV per the label.

Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, earth, citrus zest, and slight herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with earth, citrus zest, and pine needle flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is drinkable, but I am getting some earthy characteristics that add an element of dirty citrus fruit to the smell and taste.

Serving type: bottle.

There are a lot of good qualities in this beer. Unfortunately taste isn't one of them. It has a beautiful orangey gold body with a nice thick white head that leaves some small sticky lacing. The aroma is nice as well with a little biscuit and some nice floral and citrus hops notes. The taste though is almost completely absent with just faint malt sweetness. There is a decent weight to the body but just a little too much carbonation.

Poured an orange skin color, decent head, the bouquet is hops and you can smell them from the crack. Taste is good in the mouth, nice back of the tongue tang. It is hoppy and may not appeal to milder hopped drinkers, but this is good enough for two if you are out. Better poured than in the bottle.
