Crisp and east to drink. Nice balance between an "all day" beer and a "dinner beer"

Golden copper color with a thin head with short retention.
Nice malty aroma with notes of caramels and a bit of toasted malts.
Balanced flavor with notes of mild coffee, chocolate, caramels, citrus, hints of pecans. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light body with mild carbonation.
Nice US take on the Style. It is a refreshing Vienna Lager, all the right flavors are there; it would be perfect if they were more intense, though.

Sampled this evening on 9/20/14. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a tulip glass.

Pours a pretty amber in color with close to a 1-finger foamy white head that settles down to a thin layer on top. Some spotty lacing is seen. The aroma is very nice and consists of caramel malts and yeast, like freshly baked french bread. The taste is pretty much the same with good malts and the bread flavor. Very smooth and tasty. Goes down very easy with no bitter or harsh aftertaste at all. Medium bodied with perfect carbonation. Really liked this one as well as other brews from them.

12 oz bottle, poured into a pint glass

Appearance: Pours a very pretty amber/mahogany color with a quarter of a finger of white head that quickly dissolved into a halo of foam that gripped the sides of the glass and formed wispy clouds that partially covered the top of the beer.

Aroma: Nice and malty up front, giving off notes of freshly baked pretzels or French baguettes. I get some notes of brown sugar and black pepper, as well as some floral notes of clover and hops.

Taste: Very good! Tons of malt up front, with notes of freshly baked bread, followed by some caramel and brown sugar-like sweetness, black pepper, a touch of orange and finished by some beautifully balanced hops.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with some good carbonation to tickle the taste buds. With an ABV of 4.5%, there is no presence of alcohol on the palate.

Overall: This is an excellent amber/Munich/Vienna lager! Malty, sweet, slightly hoppy, beautifully balanced. Highly recommended!
