!2oz bottle poured into a weizen glass(only clean glass available) Bottle says best by 8/15/13.

A: Golden-orange in color with a frothy white head. The head stayed throughout the duration of the beer and left lacing on the sides of the glass with each sip.

S: Citrus smells along with hops. VEry sweet base notes on this one, almost like cake, super pleasant.

T: Hops are the main thing I taste, very crisp flavor. I also get some nuttiness after taste, especially after this warmed up. Sweet malty flavor is also present.

M: Nice and crisp, leaves a bitter tingle on the tongue, but doesn't leave your mouth completely dried out. This beer is easy to drink.

O: This is a decent run of the mill IPA. I would drink this again. I am drinking this almost 2 months after its best by date, however I have the feeling drinking it fresh wouldn't shift my opinion that much. There are many much better options at this price point.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 8/15/2013. Pours lightly hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange zest, floral, light pine, grass, light caramel, bread, light nuttiness, and floral earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of hop notes with a moderate malt balance; and good strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange zest, floral, pine, caramel, toffee, toast, bread, grass, light nuttiness, and floral earthiness. Fair amount of floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, floral, pine, caramel, toffee, toast, bread, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance of citrus hops with a moderate malt balance; and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around good balance and complexity of hop and malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Poured a clear brassy hue with a two finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.

The smell featured light citrusy and grassy hops with a touch of earthy caramel.

The taste offered an upfront citric hop that soon combined with the growing back end crystal mats.

The mouthfeel was typical of the style.

Overall a tasty IPA that leans toward the maltose side of the style.
