On tap at Newhall Refinery in Newhall, CA.

Pours a clear dark orange-brown with a foamy tan head that settles to a film on top of the beer. A foamy curtain of lace coats the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, earth, pumpkin, and pumpkin pie spice aromas. Taste is much the same with pumpkin, earth, nondescript spice, and perfume flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer with muddled spice qualities and a perfume flavor that make this one a bit tough to drink.

Serving type: on tap.

A: A clear cinnamon color with slight red tint to it, a one finger off white head at the top that leaves some nice lacing around the glass as you drink it.

S: Lots of cinnamon, and when I mean lots, I mean A LOT! Slight hints of caramel and an orange zest of some sort, cant put my finger on it.

T: Taste is like the nose but a little more bland and not a lot of flavors coming through, maybe it was my tongue that day but I doubt it. Some caramel on the tail end.

M: Light bodied, good amount of carbonation, slight stickyness.

O: Overall not a terrible pumpkin beer, but nothing out of this world like some I have already had, simple drinker.
