22 oz bottle: Aroma is caramel malts, with a dry hoppiness, and sugar. It reminds me of how root beer lollipops used to smell when I went to the doctor as a small child. Appearance is a clear, grainy copper color with a medium sized tan head. Flavor is quite hoppy, big malts, candy, caramel, sugary, and very small plum note. Palate is sugary, sweet, and every so slightly dry. Overall, It's pretty good stuff. A bit to sweet for a barley wine, but you can't notice the high alcohol content and is very easily drinkable. It's good.
