Enjoyed on tap at the Armsby Abbey's 3 year anniversary event on 8/24.
This was cellared for 3 years at the Abbey.
A - Clear amber colour with a big fluffy 2 finger head that receeded nice and slowly leaving big, thick side lacing.
S - A bit on the weaker side considering the strong ABV, big dark fruits though.
T - Pretty good. nice and smooth considering the age. Sticky sweet malts and candy along with some belgian spices.
M - Sticky, candy malt mouthfeel. Thick and a big heavy.
O - Overall, I liked this beer, probably alot better than I would the fresh version. Wouldn't mind trying an older one.

Got this bottle from a liquor store in DC. July 2013 Batch 11.
A - Amber pour, bright, one finger tan head, good carbonation. No lace, no retention.
S - Bread, dark fruit, sugar.
T - Booze, sugar, spirits, quite sweet, sort a fecal element, mud, earth.
M - Decent carbonation, slick full body, harsh boozy finish.
O/D - This wasn't the best. Rough, boozy, and a bit too sweet with a very pungent off flavour. Too bad.
