Kicked back with a cold one after a long Friday at work. I have to say I was hoping for more to talk about, but this one is pretty pedestrian.
A - Nice, opaque color. Poured loosely into the glass, and developed a short-lived, 1/2" head of light tan. Didn't last very long.
S - Heavy on the malt side. Just a slight sweetness in the smell. Possibly a chocolate note, but more of an afterthought. Perhaps I was LOOKING for something because there just wasn't much there..
T - Definitely had a malty taste, but not much else. Reminded me of Guinness.
M - Felt as watery as it tasted. Smooth, with a slight zing of carbonation. I was looking for a little more tingle, but was let down. Should have expected this with the lack of a head.
D - Easy to drink, but not something I'd likely buy more of. I look for more of an experience when drinking my beer. This came and went, and I won't likely look back.
