Pours a beautiful golden orange color with some sort of pinkish highlight. Too bad there was no head or lacing to be seen.
Sweet malty smell with a faint fruity - estery aroma.
Malty fruit flavor. Maybe a slight candi sugar sweetness. a little spicy clove like flavor. The alcohol is way noticeable. A bitterness shows itself and leaves. Raisins and dates in the finish.
This one is very dry (or drinkable as they would say in Belgium). The alcohol warms the palate all the way to the stomach.
More of a sipper, but at 10% ABV... Why not. Overall a decent beer.
