Poured a brilliant glowing amber color, with a rich head of bubbles that laced down the entire glass.
Nice rummy scent, thick and almost dank. Slightly sweet, with a hint of bubblegum.
Taste is very well balanced between a touch of edgy sweetness, coupled with a relatively dry finish. It is warming, and strong tasting. This beer has an excellent malt backbone that is matched well, with the sugar, and hops.
Mouthfeel is rich and dank, warming with a very crisp dry finish.
This is a nice example of a Quad. It's not overly sweet, and alcoholic tasting like most other quads. At 10%, I could only really have one of these during a drinking session. It's a fine beer, and I would recommend picking up a bottle.
