From Saturday, March 31 session notes:
Poured a 22oz. bottle into a tankard.
A: Pours clear golden-brown with a very thin white head but good lacing.
S: Citrus, floral, and a slight sweetness.
T and M: This Belgian ale is certainly a force to be reckoned with. Well-carbonated and balanced, The Reverend packs a big alcoholic punch that can put you out long before you planned to end your beer session. However, a tell-tale sweetness and dry finish common to high-ABV Belgian ales permeates this beer and makes it quite palatable.
D: Fairly drinkable, but not sessionable.
Serving type: bottle
