Not a bad brew. Nice color in a rich amber plus a tall head sits on top. Plenty of lacing too.
The smell is malts and candied sugar/ The taste is along the lines of an Abbey to me with some malty sweetness and candied sugar and warming alcohol in the finish.
Drinks smooth. I like, it tastes good.

Pours a brownish orange. Beige head is fairly thick.
Smell is complex. Dark fruits. Brown Sugar. Malt, yeast and spicy smells at the end.
The taste is similar to the smell. Dark fruits, malt. Some oak flavors as well. Very sweet though.
Not enough carbonation. Too flat and syrupy for my tastes.
Great quad that is only hurt by its excessive sweetness.
