22 oz bottle split and poured into a Bruery tulip.
O.G. 1.090, 102 IBUs, 10.54% ABV, "Supremely Limited", Batch No. 13 Mar. 2011.
A - Brilliantly clear golden orange in color topped by a three-finger sand-colored head. Retained very well and complimented by a thick coating of lace.
S - Hop central, Maharaja is loaded to the brim with juicy, fruity hops. Pineapple, mango, grapefruit, and resin gooey-ness on the finish. Well-balanced by sweet caramel malt on the back end.
T - Juicy mango, pineapple, and citrusy grapefruit hops flood the mouth and are generously backed by sweet caramel and Vienna malts.
M - Bitter as sin, Maharaja is brutal on the tongue with a killer finish. Still, it remains balanced without a noticeable alcohol kick. Malty sweet finish with a medium body this one is.
O - A very good double IPA full of fruity flavors! I like this one a lot and it deserves it's rightful place on the top 100.
