On-tap at Zeno's, and was referred to it by a fellow BAer..
A: Really gorgeous hazy dark amber. About a finger head, slightly off white, that last a good way through the drink. Solid lacing.
S: Very slight and subtle hints of citrus, particularly orange, possibly some lemon as well. Definitely some caramel, and some really bold piney hops, which smell very refreshing.
T: Very hoppy, and oh sooo good. The main citrus that stood out to me was orange, but my friend noticed a lot of lemon flavors (didn't stand out as much for me i guess). Slightly dry, but to be expected with this style.
Overall, very good, I find hoppier double pale ales to be very refreshing, especially this time of year in the midst of all of the stout releases. Again this one is loaded with hops, and is definitely worth a try.
