On tap, poured into a snifter.
Appearance - blood orange, possibly copper hue; thin white head that produces decent lacing. Smell - primarily citrus hop aroma with hints of pineapple and perhaps green apple.
Taste - a nice combination of citrus fruit, toasted malt and some grass.
Feel - flavorful with plenty of bitterness, but a bit heavy feel due to it's strong, warming alcohol.
Overall - a quality offering that DIPA fans should give a try.
Serving type: on-tap

This is a very good beer, but I have had better. Maybe I have held on to this one too long, but it was a bit too malty for my taste. Although the bottle promotes the balance and "control" like a raja of both hops and malts. I feel like the malts are too intense for the beer. Well balanced but for the style I would say medium to high ratings.
Color: Dark bronze, but with some transparency, also a very low amount of head and lacing.
Smell: Not as intense as a West Coast IPA. Maybe that is my favorite style?
Taste: Balanced, I got this one on sale for a super deal so I figured I would try it, but I would not pay what the original price reflected.
Overall: A Solid beer, well balanced, not as much hops going on as I would like but its not a bad beer in any regard. But, to me there are much better in the same price range.
