Poured into a Gulden Draak tulip. Couldn't wait to taste this one as soon as I learned of it's existance.
Wonderfully frothy head-a good two or three fingers. I love the color of most DIPAs and found no exception here-an almost hazy burnt orange. Left a good amount of lacing with every drink. Piney and clean hop aroma followed by an excellent full and bitter flavor. Tasted some fruitiness as it warmed but not much. Deliciously creamy in my mouth. Even with a 10.8% abv I could easily drink a couple pints in one night.
A very admirable Double/Imperial IPA that I would buy again. Would love to try this on tap.

Poured from a growler into a tulip
A: Hazy light brown, one-finger head
S: Lots of malt, caramel, toffee followed by grapefruit, pine and tropical fruit underneath. Complex and very pleasant to smell
T: Matches the nose but the hops are more prevalent
M: Full bodied; malty, hoppy, not hot but I can tell the EtOH is there
O: Not the best DIPA I've had but quite tasty and a classic example of the style. I've had this both bottled and on tap and it's far better on tap
