Poured from a bomber bottle into a standard pint glass.
A: A dark orange copperish color with a very fluffy white head. Left nice glass lacing.
S: Huge hop aroma with an earthy pine and some fresher citrus smells.
T: Bitter hop with some deep earthy piney grapefruit and orange flavors come through but are eventually overtaken by the very deep caramel malt sweetness. The sweetness lingers through the finish as the hops come back for a bitter finish. Nicely balanced beer.
M: Full bodied with a warming alcohol feel upon the finish. Carbonation is well suited.
D: Powerful beer but then its a 10+ abv beer but I enjoyed the pint and felt like more.
Serving type: growler

Location: Half Time Poughkeepsie
Glassware: Delirium Tremens Tulip
Appearance: Copper to Brown in color with a moderate head on an aggressive pour. The head is lightly browned as well.
Aromatics: The hops hit me as soon as the cap was removed from the bottle. There is a strong pineapple tropical fruit flavor so sweet that it almost smells honeyed. Some malt in the background.
Flavor: That bitterness keeps hitting. Along with a buttery fruit flavor. Some bready malts. I'm getting a lot of flavors from this beer. The mouthfeel is very smooth until the finish.
Finish: The finish keeps a lot of the hop residue along with a boat load of carbonation lingering.
Notes: Sealed in tin foil. Release number 18 2014
Serving type: bottle
