Dark amber in color, sticky 2 finger off white head, not much to the carbonation but the head leaves thick trails of lace down the glass.
Very floral with some citrus and pineapple notes, note a very complex aroma but certainly a strong one.
Fruity sweetness up front and balanced by a strong hop character, citrus peel and grapefruit and a big piney finish that the bitterness clings to long after the beer is gone. The alcohol only makes it self known afte the flavor subside and you feel the warming effect.
Mouthfeel is very smooth, maintains a light body, very drinkable as well.
Overall Avery knocks this one out of the park for me, flavorfull DIPA that I'd be happy to get anyday
