A:
Pours a clear golden amber with three fingers of beige cream that settles to a fat film that picks up with a swirl. Good retention; splotchy lacing.

S:
Astringent and freshly hoppy. Grapefruit rind, pine, dirt, sweet citrus notes, some caramel malt flavors underneath.

T:
Dry, crisp, hoppy. Slightly malty with dry hop flavors, grapefruit, lemon, pine, some biscuity malt.

M:
Crisp and slightly creamy with some nice prickly carbonation, a medium body, and a smooth, dry finish.

O:
Very tasty IIPA.
Excellent, dry, creamy, hoppy, bitter, fresh. Beautiful pour with a nice fresh aroma that is not too intense and only hints at the astringent hoppiness of the flavor. The beer tastes delicious and hoppy as could be. However, it is all quite tropical in character and is not shudder-inducing. It is creamy and feels lovely on the palate but is a little exhausting after a while (but it's a IIPA, so what are you going to do...).
Would have again; worth trying if you're an IPA fan.

On tap.

Appearance: Light amber with a one finger off white head

Smell: Bright fruits, pine, caramel, booze

Taste: Definitely on the pine spectrum for a DIPA with undertones of tropical and citrus fruits. Caramel for good measure

Mouthfeel: Medium body; A tad boozier than I prefer

Overall: This doesn't hold up to the greats. A bit too boozy and bitter for my liking. I had GL Chillwave before this and found that to be more enjoyable. However, I will consider reaching for this again when available

Pours golden, dark amber with finger width foamy head that quickly dissipates. Lacing dissipates quickly as well. Boozy, citrus odor. Can detect hints of apple as well. There is a mild hoppy tastes up front with a strong, malty, boozy aftertaste. It goes down very smooth. Definitely a beer for cold weather. Will warm you up like a Brandy or Congac. Very little hoppy aftertaste. Definitely a beer you want to sip by a warm fire.

Dark, amber-orange body with a thick and creamy, sticky, white head. Powerful pine and citrus hop aroma. Complex mixture of caramel and biscuit malt flavors, zingy hop bitterness, and a bold alcohol heat percolating underneath. Heavy body; slight sweet heaviness; semi-dry finish.

I had the pleasure of sampling this at the brewery's tap room just two days ago and really liked it (and rated it at 4.25), but must give this higher props after making it my first beer of the day. Bold balance and depth throughout with eye-popping zest to please the palate. I get additional flavor notes of apricot and dried peaches for some additional fruit-like notes. If big, beautiful IPAs are your thing, check out an offering of this monster.
