A- Clear and copper color...about a finger's worth of head to start then only a thin layer...constant
S- Very hoppy, citrusy, piney...pungent
The first thing that hits me is the viscosity of the beer. It's very thick for an IIPA. First flavors come from the hops...bitter,subtle malts, did i mention hops and bitter?
In all fairness the beer is a good representation of the style, but I'm not particularly fond of it.

Poured from a growler into a tulip
A: Hazy light brown, one-finger head
S: Lots of malt, caramel, toffee followed by grapefruit, pine and tropical fruit underneath. Complex and very pleasant to smell
T: Matches the nose but the hops are more prevalent
M: Full bodied; malty, hoppy, not hot but I can tell the EtOH is there
O: Not the best DIPA I've had but quite tasty and a classic example of the style. I've had this both bottled and on tap and it's far better on tap
Serving type: growler
