"Batch #17, 2013" printed on the label of the bomber. Pours a slightly hazy amber-copper color with a 3 finger, cream colored head. Good retention and moderate patches of lace.
Smell is a lot of sweet, pitted fruit...strawberries, apricot, with a nice honeydew melon and caramel malt backbone.
Mostly sweet in the front and middle of the tongue, with sweet, floral hops accented by apricot, melon, and caramel malt before finishing with a some slightly bitter, earthy hops and a little heat.
Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel. The 10% abv is very well hidden. Dry finish.
My first time with this one, and I can see why it's so popular. A little on the sweet side, but a nice hop profile and the alcohol is barely noticeable. It's no Heady Topper, but a super tasty DIPA that's definitely worth the $8.99 price tag.

Location: Half Time Poughkeepsie
Glassware: Delirium Tremens Tulip
Appearance: Copper to Brown in color with a moderate head on an aggressive pour. The head is lightly browned as well.
Aromatics: The hops hit me as soon as the cap was removed from the bottle. There is a strong pineapple tropical fruit flavor so sweet that it almost smells honeyed. Some malt in the background.
Flavor: That bitterness keeps hitting. Along with a buttery fruit flavor. Some bready malts. I'm getting a lot of flavors from this beer. The mouthfeel is very smooth until the finish.
Finish: The finish keeps a lot of the hop residue along with a boat load of carbonation lingering.
Notes: Sealed in tin foil. Release number 18 2014
