A: Pours a fantastic golden-orange. Slightly opaque, with a voluminous yellow head. Nice retention, and great lacing. Phenomenal.
S: Fresh dry hop scent--very nice. Grapefruit, leafy hoppy citrus. Citrus bouquet. Pineapple and pear seem to make their way in too. Some toastiness resides within the malt sweetness. Pungent character seems to work itself in after it sits a few minutes.
T: Bitterness doesn't quite get there. Heavy on the dry hops--which hints toward pellets, being very earthy/organic in flavour. Sweet citrus, sweet toasted malt. Bittersweet finish--not as bitter as I had hoped. Alcohol can be noticed, but works well with a nice piney element from the hops. Becomes a bit hot after some warming. Some fruity bubblegum esters emerge as well.
M: Medium body. Low-medium carbonation. A bit more carbonation would be appreciated.
D: With the large ABV, everything is worked in nicely. A bit too sweet overall perhaps--but the alcohol would likely stick out if it weren't as apparent
