My 500th Review!
Appearance - Clear orange colour with a fairly large size frothy beige coloured head. There an average amount of carbonation, and there is some really good spider web lacing on the sides of the glass. The head lasted for 4-5 minutes before it began to dissipate.
Smell - Malts, caramel, hops, oranges, pineapple
Taste & Mouth - There is an average amount of carbonation and the beer feels slightly creamy on the tongue. Most of the taste is made up of caramel and malts mixed with hops. It has a very sugary sweet taste and also some notes of orange juice and zest and also some pineapple. It finishes with a caramel sweet aftertaste with some lingering hop bitterness.
Overall - Well you'd never know it was a 10% beer..the alcohol is very well hidden. It sort of reminded me of Gemini by Southern Tier but a little more balanced. I'm happy I got to try it and would love to try it on tap.
