Poured into a New Belgium snifter
A - Nice transparent golden amber, half finger white head and minimal lacing
S - Sweet sticky hops, resin, alcohol, pineapple, citrus hops, a bit of pine, toasted yet sweet malt. Almost a super concentrated pineapple sticky smell. Really nice and a hint of floral
T - Big malt, hop and alcohol explosion. Tones down and you get the pineapple, toastiness, candy sugar sweetness, floral, a bit of pine. The lingering taste reminds me of fresh, ice cream shop strawberry malt shake. This has some nice bitters with amazing sweet flavors and the resin comes out in the taste pretty big
M - This one is sticky, big carbonation and the sweet bitter can at times turn into a soured bitterness. Leaves your mouth always wanting another sip to balance the sweet and bitter
D - For a 10.25% abv, this goes down super nice. The complex yet balanced flavors are really nice. Minus the ghost bitterness
Final thought - $7 a bottle, you might as well get 3, one for now, one for a few months from now and one to see what happens next release

Tipple's Brews - Gainesville - Release #18, 2014 - 1 pint, 6 oz. Bottle
A - pours a nice orange with two fingers of white bubble head that somewhat quickly dissipated. Carb levels coming up are standard. Nice clarity.
S - Nice citrus notes on nose, has nice earthy qualities to it. Hop presence is forward here. Mildly boozy here.
T - Start is nice and warming. Has a boozy quality there (expected for 10+%). Extremely smooth for being an Imperial. Has a very balance hop and malt profile. The end you get that booziness for sure, but between it is a nice caramel, sweet taste.
M - Medium bodied, quite drinkable. Carbonation is perfect. Smooth, very smooth, no real bite to speak of like you get w/ alot of Imperials.
O - Worth a try. Very nice qualities to it. At the price point, it may not be all that, but for what it is it does not dissapoint.
