12oz brown bottle (no freshness date), releases a dirty peach with some bright copper hues. Pours a 3 finger head that's white, foamy, and sticks all over the glass and leaves its trail as you drink it down. Good retention. Watch out for the dark dregs in the bottle.

Soft floral plum in the nose, with suggestions of honey, white pepper spiciness and bell peppers.

Light-ish body, crisp, with an even feel about it. Nutty, yeasty, wheat-like tannins, with a toasty caramel flavor, but then it's gone. Some sour / tartness melds with a moderate watery rind bitterness with hop leaf notes. This part is actually quite quenching and more-ish at the same time. Dry tannic finish is slightly overwhelming, and a bit of a mood killer.

Too many tannins for me, and not enough sweetness / malt profile to balance things out. If this is Karma, when do I get the balance?

12 oz brown bottle with no freshness date.

A- Deep copper hue, very sticky lace ... this is what I like to see.

S- Nutty biscuity aroma. Fruity and spicy with suggestions of plums and black pepper.

T- Nutty toasted caramel palate with a yeasty mildly fruity mix. Light hopping balances but does not get in the way. Semi-sweet finish with a long trail of caramel and toasted flavors.

M- Great crispness for a summer seasonal, solid moderate body.

D- Reminds me of De Koninck in a way ... with that said it is very drinkable.

This isn't going to be real inciteful. Not much I have to say about this beer. It was the only one on tap that I hadn't had, soooo.... Typical belgian yeast and crispness in the taste. A little bit of amber ale flavor. Tastes like a belgian version of New Belgium's Fat Tire. There you go.

Light rusty to almost Apple juice like coloring with a very thin appearance and an almost absent empty head.

The aroma is faint and watery but a little spicy. I catch cinnamon, caramel malt, faint bubblegum, raisin and tea leaves.

The flavor is quite thin and watery with some Belgian Tripel quality. The bubblegum is sweet and there's a clovey, yeasty taste. The malt is like a tea leaf and caramel mixture.

The feel is astringent and sour that leaves a strange film on the mouth.

I tend to enjoy every thing by Avery but this missed my personal mark.
