From tap into a tulip at Euclid Hall (seasonal)
A: Deep copper with brown hues. Perfect sticky white head and great lacing.
S: Hints of Belgian yeast, light caramel, biscuity nose, and some minor spice.
T: light nuttiness, touch of yeast, low hops, balanced malts. Just a little bit of tannin like pull on the palate.
M: medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finish falls short.
D: An okay beer overall. Doesn't portray Belgium IPA's very well nor American stylistic impression either. Easy drinking but lacks the yeast profile to really sink in as a great beer. Not bad but not great.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a light golden brown color, with a thin off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains Belgian yeast, caramelized malts, some fruit and a faint touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out mildly sweet with flavors of caramel and fruit. Then some breadiness comes in Belgian yeast and a thin malt character. The hops presence is mild and brings some balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: A little smooth and a little crisp, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, mild kick, decent representation of style, there are definitely better beers in the style.

A - pours up about the same color as an amber ale, clear with a very small head which quickly diminishes and not much lacing to speak of.
S - fairly one dimensional smell. Mostly breadiness with a small amount of pine.
T - Sweet apples at first sip with a kind of dry yeasty finish. A metallic note is detectable.
M - kind of average and unimpressive.
O - not real impressive, certainly not horrible, but as mediocre as you will find.
