Date: 10/30/14
Location: Half Time Mamaroneck
Draught/Bottle: 12 oz Brown Bottle
Glassware: Snifter

Overall: It's not a proper BPA, like many BAs have mentioned here but the beers score certainly shouldn't suffer this greatly for it. A solid beer that would be great for summer.
Appearance: Dark apricot in color that lightens to an med dark orange at the edges. Large foamy tannish brown carbonation. The carbonation itself sits as a whisp at the top of the beer after maintaining good retention.
Aroma: This beer smells like I'm playing fruit ninja. Strong aromas of Plums, grapes, and peaches. Sweet doughy malts. No hop bitterness to speak of. There is no Belgian yeast that I can discern.
Taste: The malts come out more in the taste and I start to get flavors of dough and crackers. There is a little pepper which suggests Belgian yeasts. Again though the flavors are of sweet fruits.
Mouthfeel: Medium light body with medium carbonation. There is a touch of cloying sweetness, nearly syrupy, from all the fruit flavors combined with the sweet malts.

12 oz. bottle poured into a tulip.

A- Dark amber. Head is a yellowish off white. One finger. Lacing is quite there.

S- Bright fruit. Apricot, and almost some apple esters. Very slight Belgian spice. Hops aren't very detectable, and the malt is a very light toast.

T- Fruity again. Very mild flavor. Belgian spice is light again.

M- Light body. Sweet feel and finish is rather sweet and wet. There is just the slightest spicy dryness.

O- This one isn't so impressive. Pretty fruity, and there isn't a lot of that great Belgian yeast spicy trait.
