Pours a golden color, maybe the slightest bit of copper tint to it. Slightly hazy, but mostly clear. A nice off-white one finger head sits on top with great retention and leaves some nice lacing.
The nose is nicely hopped. Floral and citrus, with a nice mix of grassy and earthy hops. Only the lightest of sweet malts is coming through.
The taste is a lot like the nose, but a little more malty, and the floral hops are replaced by piney and bitter resiny hops. Sweet malts come out more as it warms.
Mouthfeel is lighter than I expected, with a nice bitter bite. Finishes a bit dry and has a nice carbonation. Drinkability is really good.
Overall, a simple enjoyable IPA. There really isn't anything special about this, but it's really good, something I wouldn't mind having around at all times. It's affordable, enjoyable and tastes great. A winner in my book.
