12oz. can poured into a Stone pint glass.
A- One finger creamy off white head, recedes quickly leaving good lacing. The brew itself is a dark brown under natural light, under bright light it appears a dark amber red. Leaves good lacing rings all the way through.
S- Dark malts, toffee, rye bread, caramel, light note of coffee, and a slight nuttiness.
A- Opens doughy and malty with notes of toffee and caramel. On the finish it's a bit more bitter, I get notes of unground coffee beans and the slightest hint of milk chocolate.
D- Medium to full mouthfeel for the style, perfect amount of carbonation, easy to drink with very little alcohol present.
O- A local favorite of mine, and a great session able brown in my opinion. I will buy again and I would reccomend this beer.
