Served in the 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass. The color is a semi-dark brown/amber, with a small layer of bubbly white head. The smell is an almost chocolate dark malt. The taste is a chocolate sweetness with a strong hop/nutty backing in the beer. Mouthfeel is smooth. As for drinkability, this would be one that would be nice to have a few of.
Again, I admit that I wasn't looking too forward to this one as another brown ale, but this is surprisingly good. A lot more flavor than the average brown ale, and this is one I'd have again.
