A - Cloudy brown with a thick head that managed to stick around for a while.
S - Caramel, malt, nutty and sweet.
T - Big malt flavor with a nice bitterness from the malt. Tastes more like a brown ale mixed with a scotch ale than an APA, but still quite pleasing.
M - Full and lush.
D - Sessionable and satisfying.

I generally like reds, so I was sorry to see that this beer has been retired. It's not the best of their beers, so I guess I see why they made that decision, but it's a nice change of pace from some of their heavy beers. Looking forward to whatever the eventual replacement might be.
