Color - A deep ruby red with some brown highlights, slight chill haze.
Head - Very thick and fluffy, very light tan in color.
Nose - Lots of fresh fruit and bold floral hops. Very heady aroma, quite full and delightful
Taste - Starts out full and malty rich, rather fruity as well (berries) and a bit chewy. Mid pallet is tempered with some herbs and a very light roast malt character. Finishes less rich, with a fairly strong punch of earthy hops.
Mouthfeel - creamy at first, thins out towards the end.
Overall - An interesting ale. A bit hoppier then most red ales, fairly complex for its type. A slightly raucous drinker, but a drinker for sure. I like it.
