Clear, coppery color, lush, rocky, cream-toned head.
Mild fruit in the nose, light hops, caramel-y...but played at medium volume throughout.
Brisk hops on the tongue right off, glide off the palate with ease, tickling the tongue just a bit, leaving it eager for more...dark fruits dance along the palate, and delight the tastebuds...
...ah, who'm I kiddin'? It's just a good ol' beer...medium-bodied, short finish, slight bitterness, toasty malt, easy drinking...an excellent pale ale, ...pass me another, would you?

I generally like reds, so I was sorry to see that this beer has been retired. It's not the best of their beers, so I guess I see why they made that decision, but it's a nice change of pace from some of their heavy beers. Looking forward to whatever the eventual replacement might be.
