Appearance is deep orange color with hints of red and brown. A tight tan head is stays consistant. There is noticable carbonation. Malty, nutty smell with some hidden hops, bread and yeast. Initial taste of malt, some caramel and nuts, with the hops subdued a bit. There is some sweetness, and some hop bitterness on the finish. Very tasty, but it reminds me more of a brown ale or nut-brown ale.
