Received free after our office Christmas Party (~$5.99)...
The beer pours a clear golden base with an orange tint, minimum head and retention, no lacing. Lemons and oranges, sweet malt, mild alcohol tones.
Full bodied, all aroma notes well-blended with a great yeast/hefeweizen flavor, excellent aftertaste. Feels good in the mouth and at 9.0abv, the big bottle is a nice session in itself.
Final Thought: A nice strong ale that tastes like a kicked up German hefeweizen. Very good stuff, but not worth the price tag.
