Review taken end of September 2013.
Brown bomber bottle with typical Avery art. Pretty cool artwork it is. Gold foil around the neck. Poured into a stemmed tulip.
A - golden orange to light amber reddish coloring. Head has excellent size and is of a white color. Great stick to the glass.
S - a real dank hop aroma. Grapefruit that's overly ripe and slight pine. A real funky hop character to the aroma with some sweet malts.
T - hop notes consist of grapefruit, pine, earthy, fruity and dank. Very good hop profile with a soft spice intertwining the mix if hop notes. Sugary sweet caramel malt does its job to balance duganA to perfection. Finish it bitter with more earthiness to the final note.
M - smooth and perfectly balanced. Good hop flavors with the malt to set things up for an overall easy drinker. Smooth and flows lovely from start to finish.
O - first time having this and I must say it was quite the treat. One of the better 1st time IPA's I've ever had. Avery do a great job with most of their stuff, and this is right up there with some of their best offerings. duganA is a tasty American treat, and ill have it again if available to me.
