The beer is poured a medium amber color, with hints of gold along the sides of the glass. A bit of haze is visible, while a inch high head forms that is off-white in color and laces down the glass slowly. A strong citric scent can be smelled several feet away, with touches of pine and grass in there as well. The taste of the malt brings a hearty bread and biscuit flavor to the party, but the party is crashed by the hops. The hops slam into the palate with citrus, pine, and grass flavors, that linger, no cling to the palate as if their little lives depended on it. The feel is heavy/medium texture and finishes with an arid tannin like dryness at the back end of the palate. A solid color with some haze though, an over the top aroma, that is enhanced by a blistering bitter hoppy flavor. The feel has more of the characteristics of stout than an IPA. But man is fun to drink, a hop heads delight.
