22 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass. Comes in at 93 IBUs and 8.5%. No bottling info is given.
A-Pours a crystal clear amber with visible orange highlights. It has a one finger off white head that dissolves to a nice all encompassing layer. Leaves some decent lace.
S-Pine and citrus, particularly pineapple, dominate the nose. There is a touch of booze and some sugary sweetness. As it warms it becomes a lot more dankish.
T-A lot of pine and some raw, resiny hop bitterness hit fast. Pineapple also is apparent. It is a tad boozy midsip along with some sweetness that momentarily halts the bitterness. The raw hop bitterness returns at the end. It is quite dry.
M-The body is on the upper end of the medium spectrum. It has good carbonation.
D-It has a nice level of bitterness and is very West Coast DIPA in style. The noticeable booze does help limit this guy.
I really enjoyed this beer. It was recently released so this is a fresh bottle. I prefered this over the Maharaja.
