Another great pleasant surprise. This has held up, in my opinion, better than most 10 year old AWA’s I have had. Crisp, tart bite but not overly acidic. Almost no oxidation (unbelievably) and main notes are green apples, must, dark cherries, oak, and lemon. Finishes dry. Was expecting to drain pour and instead will be finishing the whole glass.

The aroma offers sweet barrel character, honey, caramel, hints of tart lemon, a bit of limoncello.
The flavor follows with a balance of honey sweetness, tart dried lemon, a blend of barrel character with the vinous quality and some sweet port, onto lingering tart and alcohol.

Really muddled and murky amber appearance. Aroma was rank spoiled wine. Not happy so far.
Taste dropped more wood and what I suspect may have been an infection. Synthetic plastic like phenols. Just wasn't a fan of this one.
