This brew is a pretty straight-on amber. An off-white head is dense and sticks in rings and patches on the glass.
The aroma is pretty one-sided as far as hops overwhelming any malt presence, though it is backed up by a grains smell. yeast is also a bit strong, adding an odd tint. Hops are nice and herbal/flowery, giving a raw bud note.
Flavor is the same: good if not off-balance, with a grains backing and a little too much yeast. Decently tasty.
Mouthfeel is smooth, with a crisp bite from the moderate carbonation. Body is on the light side of moderate.
I'd give this one a shot, though I think it may be a bit off-style.
