Appearance: Pours a clear, effervescent, copper body with a small, glass-coating, white head.
Smell: Fairly mild aroma smelling of dry, biscuity malts, floral hops, and just a hint of caramel.
Taste: Malts tasting of dry-old biscuits with an exceedingly light touch of caramel sweetness. Floral hoppiness, even some citrus. Smooth, medium-low bitterness. Sip of spring water on the tail end. Light bitterness on the clean finish.
Mouthfeel: Just barely makes it to medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: About average for an American-born ESB which leaves it somewhat forgettable.
Serving type: bottle
