My third ESB for the day. Pours a light copper color with a large and quite frothy white head. Lighter in color than the others but much more carbonated.
Aroma is caramel controlled with a nice underlying blackcurrant fruitiness. A bit of a peppery twinge comes through in the end of the smell.
Taste has a decent balance of malts and hops. Kind of an earthy base with some spice notes. Hops are fruity with a touch of pine. Malts seem to be low on sweetness with more of a dry grainy aspect. Hoppiness comes through in the end but its nothing too exciting.
Mouthfeel was a little overdone on carbonation and a bit watery as well. Fairly solid but nothing to be amazed about.
