A- Pours a beautiful ruby red with a golden background. Some head but gives way quickly to the malty profile.
S- Glover lots of Belgium yeast smell, some bubble gum, hint of banana. Light amount of hops in the background, probably would not notice them if I was not looking for them.
T- This is a special Saison that is for sure mostly it starts off like a very malty IPA, there is lots of sweet caramel malts, that is citriusy light and floral then burst into the lightness and floral appeal of a siason, with the Belgium yeast fighting nicely with the caramel and cirtus flavor. Its a Americanized Saison with unforgiving hops and malt. I like this more with each sip its surprising.
M- Good carbonation any less and it would feel syrupy any more and It becomes to harsh.
O- I like this a lot more than I thought after reading some reviews. This has a lot going for it and Avery did a fine twist of a traditional beer making a comeback while still putting a great twist on it. I'd expect nothing less from a 18 year beer company!

Reviewed from notes, no date, drank with Nate on his second trip down.
Nate says after taste reminds him of Fresca. Medium cloudy brown with a thin white head, smells like an aged saison, rye definitely apparent in smell and taste, also taste faintly yeasty and clovey. Medium low in carbonation, slightly boozy. Taste like a mild version of John Henry's 3 lick spiker ale almost exactly.
