On tap at Avery Tasting Room poured a hazy reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of toffee, dark fruit, light carmel, light grape and light barnyard funk. Mouthfeel was light bodied and crisp with a dry lightly tart finish. Flavors of toffee, grape, tobacco and light barnyard funk with a crisp dry lightly tart lingering tobacco finish.

This was a blend between Recolte Sauvage (25%) and Reverend (75%) aged in bourbon barrels for 6 months.
It is Reverend heavy and the bourbon barrels don't add as much character as I hoped. Wine characters are noticeable but I think I'd had preferred Muscat blended with this instead. That being said, it was a very nice beer.

Right place, right time this morning, as I was given a glass of this one by one of the brewers. I was told it was brewed with copious amounts of Cabernet grapes then aged in bourbon barrels. Poured a hazy dark brown color with a smallish brown head. Aromas of red grapes, oak, funk, booze and bourbon. On the palate, this one was medium bodied and tart, with brett, oak, bourbon, dark grapes and booze. Excellent.
